Terms & conditions.

PAYMENT

BOOKING FEE: The booking fee is a non-refundable payment. It accounts for correspondence and admin time, as well as keeping the date available for you and declining other booking enquiries for the same date and time.

Once the booking fee is paid, that is considered an agreement of contract.

 

FINAL BALANCE: The balance is to be paid in full on the event date if in cash. If paying by bank transfer, please do so 3 days prior to the event - to the same account provided.

 

CHANGES

EXTRA PEOPLE: If additional services are required, the balance will increase. Additional services should be arranged before the event date as artist would prefer to plan to allocate extra time towards the booking and adjust the start time accordingly. Artist cannot guarantee they will have time to accommodate extra people in if informed on the event day.

 

CANCELLATION: Once the booking has been secured with the booking fee for the listed services above, that is the amount that is due on the day. Artist has held that full time slot for you. If someone is unable to attend the booking, you may replace them with another friend or family member, as that service will still be charged for regardless.

 

In the event a client cancels the entire Hair Service Contract, the client will forfeit the booking fee paid to the Artist. Exceptions will be made in the unlikely event of another government restriction preventing wedding events from going ahead and needing to be postponed. Only then, the booking fee will be held for one rescheduled wedding date.

 

EXTRAS

COMPLIMENTARY INCLUSIONS: Lashes, mini touch up kits, hair padding for updos, veil positioning, tikka pinning (South Asian weddings), pinning your hair accessories/flowers in, décolletage contouring & glow (for brides).

 

CHARGES FOR OPTIONAL EXTRAS: Dupatta pinning (South Asians) - $50 each, Jewellery placing - $30, Hair extensions rental - $60. Tattoo/body scar/body acne cover-up - $20-50.

 

YOU: Artist must be informed if any client has a contagious virus or skin condition, and must also be made aware of allergies and sensitivities. Artist will use a new set of clean, sanitised and disposable tools on all clients. Artist cannot guarantee or be held accountable for any allergic reactions, or any complications from the makeup or the application.

 

We understand that each individual has different skin types. We do our very best to make the styles last as long as possible but cannot be held accountable for makeup being sweated off or transferring off your face as the day progresses. If this may be a concern, please book us for touchups.

 

Artist will refuse to work on a client with conjunctivitis, and will refuse to apply lipstick or makeup around the mouth of a client with a cold sore.

PHOTOS: Artist would love to capture and share photos and videos of you all glammed up for your big day. If you prefer not to have your photo/video taken, please inform the artist.

 

OTHER EXTRA COSTS:

  • If booking start time is before 7am, an early start fee of $60/hr will apply.

  • If client provides the artist with an incorrect address or changes the address without notice, client may have to pay an extra travel cost for the artist’s extra time and inconvenience on the day.

  • If the client has to move to a different room in the accommodation after artist has set up, there will be a pack/unpack fee of $30.

  • If artist is left stranded outside the accommodation as client hasn’t arrived, is not awake yet or responding to their phones to let them in, there will be a $50 charge for anything over 15 minutes after the planned start time.

  • If any client’s hair is still wet/damp when it is their turn for styling, there will be a $40 charge as proper drying plus styling to hold a hairstyle will take longer than planned.
